Resume on Projob

Your resume is built from your profile, then matched by ProMatch

On Projob you do not write a CV from scratch. Fill in your profile once as structured data — the Projob engine builds a PDF resume automatically, and ProMatch uses the same data to match you with vacancy requirements.

The flow

From profile to application, one source of data

Your resume and your ProMatch score are read from the same profile data, so whatever you update in your profile shows up in both.

  1. Fill in your profile

Complete the 7-page profile: personal data, education, experience, skills & languages, career interests, documents, and Career Direction & psychometric test.

  2. It becomes structured data

Every entry is stored as its own field — education level & major, years of experience, skill list, languages, location — not just free text.

  3. Your resume is generated

When you apply, choose “Generated by ProMatch”: a PDF resume is built from your profile with the template you pick.

  4. ProMatch compares

The same data is compared with the vacancy requirements: education, experience, skills (including mandatory skills), languages, field and location.

  5. Everyone sees the result

You see which requirements are not met yet, with links to fix them; employers see the score and the applicant ranking.

The 7-page profile

What you fill in, and where the data is used

Profile completeness is calculated per page. The automatic resume can be generated once your profile is at least 85% complete.

What the generated resume looks like

What is included

  • Name, profile photo, email, phone number, city & province
  • Work experience with dates (or “Present” for your current job)
  • Education with graduated / in-progress status
  • Technical and non-technical skills
  • Languages with speaking & writing levels

Five templates

Professional Classic, Modern Minimalist, Creative, Executive Summary and Technical / IT Focus. The content is the same; only the layout and colours differ.

What is left out

Age, gender, religion, marital status, identity documents and psychometric test results are not printed on the generated resume.

Where the resume goes

The generated resume is saved to your resume list and attached to your application. The file can only be opened by you and by the employer receiving your application. You can still upload your own CV (PDF/TXT) or reuse one you uploaded before.

How it connects to ProMatch

ProMatch reads the same data as your resume

ProMatch is an automatic match score between your profile and the vacancy requirements, calculated with the same rules for everyone. It is a decision aid — the final decision stays with the employer.

What is assessed

Work experience and education (high weight); skills & languages and field fit from Career Direction (medium); GPA, location and profile completeness (low).

What is not assessed

Age, gender, religion, ethnicity, marital status, photo, identity documents and psychometric test results.

Empty requirements

Requirements the employer left empty are not assessed — neither passed nor failed. If too few can be assessed, the result is “Insufficient vacancy data”.

Match threshold

A score of 70% or more means a match with the vacancy requirements. Scores are recalculated when the scoring rules change, and employers can recalculate their applicants’ scores.

Who sees what

You, the applicant

  • When a vacancy or job fair requires a minimum ProMatch: which requirements you do not meet yet, with direct links to the profile section to complete — without the score number or ranking.
  • For missing skills: the skills the vacancy is looking for and relevant upcoming Projob training events.
  • Invitations to apply from employers when your profile matches (can be turned off in settings). Your contact details are shared only after you apply.

Employers

  • Each applicant’s match score and category (Strong match, Match, Weak match).
  • Applicants sorted by score, a minimum-score filter and a breakdown per requirement.
  • The resume you attached to your application.

Getting the most out of your resume & score

  • Fill in your major and GPA for formal education.
  • Add at least 3 technical skills or tools, and every language you speak.
  • Record each job with start & end dates — or mark yourself as a fresh graduate.
  • Complete Career Direction on page 7 so field fit can be assessed.
  • Update your profile any time; the next resume you generate uses your latest data.

The full scoring details are on the How ProMatch Works page.
