How ProMatch Works
ProMatch is an automatic match score between your profile and the requirements of a vacancy or event. It is calculated with the same rules for everyone. ProMatch is a decision aid — the final decision stays with the employer or organizer.
What is assessed
| Factor | Weight | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Work experience | High | Total years of experience against the vacancy minimum. |
| Education | High | Highest education level and field of study. |
| Skills & languages | Medium | Skills and languages requested by the vacancy, including skills marked as mandatory. |
| Field fit (Career Direction) | Medium | How your Career Direction result fits the vacancy field. |
| GPA | Low | Only when the vacancy sets a minimum GPA (4.00 scale). |
| Location | Low | Your city/province against the placement location. |
| Profile completeness | Low | Completeness of your basic profile data. |
What is NOT assessed
Age, gender, religion, ethnicity, marital status, blood type, height/weight, photo, identity documents and psychometric test results are not used in the ProMatch score.
What the number means
- A score of 70% or more means a match with the vacancy requirements.
- Requirements the employer left empty are not assessed — neither passed nor failed.
- If too few vacancy requirements can be assessed, the result is marked “Insufficient vacancy data” instead of a match.
- The score depends on how complete your profile and the vacancy are, and is recalculated when the scoring rules change.
Where the score is used
- Helping employers sort applicants for a vacancy.
- Vacancy recommendations for you.
- Minimum requirements of some events. Below the minimum, an event registration may be declined automatically, and you will see which factors to improve.
The “Preference match” percentage on vacancy pages is different from ProMatch: it only compares your preferences (job interest, location, work type, expected salary) with the vacancy.
Your rights
You may ask for an explanation of the factors behind your score and request a human review of a decision based on the automatic score. Send your request to legal@projob.id, mentioning the vacancy or event.
For employers
- Fill in education level, minimum experience and at least one skill — a vacancy cannot be published without them.
- Add field of study, languages, mandatory skills, location and minimum GPA where relevant for a more meaningful score.
- Do not use discriminatory requirements. Age and gender are not assessed by ProMatch.
