ProMatch 如何运作

ProMatch is an automatic match score between your profile and the requirements of a vacancy or event. It is calculated with the same rules for everyone. ProMatch is a decision aid — the final decision stays with the employer or organizer.

What is assessed

FactorWeightDescription
Work experienceHighTotal years of experience against the vacancy minimum.
EducationHighHighest education level and field of study.
Skills & languagesMediumSkills and languages requested by the vacancy, including skills marked as mandatory.

Profile completenessLowCompleteness of your basic profile data.

What is NOT assessed

Age, gender, religion, ethnicity, marital status, blood type, height/weight, photo, identity documents and psychometric test results are not used in the ProMatch score.

What the number means

  • A score of 70% or more means a match with the vacancy requirements.
  • Requirements the employer left empty are not assessed — neither passed nor failed.
  • If too few vacancy requirements can be assessed, the result is marked “Insufficient vacancy data” instead of a match.
  • The score depends on how complete your profile and the vacancy are, and is recalculated when the scoring rules change.

Where the score is used

  • Helping employers sort applicants for a vacancy.
  • Vacancy recommendations for you.
  • Minimum requirements of some events. Below the minimum, an event registration may be declined automatically, and you will see which factors to improve.

The “Preference match” percentage on vacancy pages is different from ProMatch: it only compares your preferences (job interest, location, work type, expected salary) with the vacancy.

How far ProMatch works

1Profile

You complete your 7-page profile — the same data powers your resume and ProMatch.

2Vacancy published

Employers must fill education, minimum experience and at least one skill so there is something to assess.

3Apply

Your application reaches the employer's applicant list with the resume you chose.

4Screening

Employers sort and filter applicants by ProMatch score and see a per-factor breakdown. Re-scoring uses your latest profile.

5Interview

Selected applicants move to In Progress and then Interview in the employer pipeline.

6Onboarding

The Onboarding and Deal stages mark you as hired; data can be passed on to the company HR system.

ProMatch is strongest at screening: it helps your application get read faster and more accurately. Interview through onboarding decisions remain the employer's.

About the 70% figure

  • 70% is the default threshold for “match”, the same for every applicant.
  • Employers can change the threshold per vacancy (40–95%) in the vacancy form; Match/Strong match labels in the applicant list follow that vacancy's threshold.
  • When processing applicants, employers can also filter by 50%, 70%, 80%, 90% or “above the vacancy threshold”.

Tips & tricks to get noticed quickly

For Seekers
  • Fill in work experience with correct start and end dates: experience carries the biggest weight.
  • Write your field of study exactly as on your diploma and add skills you truly have — especially those often requested in your field.
  • Complete Career Direction on profile page 7 so field fit is counted.
  • Update your profile after training or events: new skills are read as soon as the employer re-scores, and the certificate shows as a badge.
  • Apply to vacancies whose requirements fit you; a high score on the right vacancy is worth more than many random applications.
For Employers
  • Fill requirements as completely as possible — field of study, languages, mandatory skills, location — so scores separate applicants sharply.
  • Mark only truly mandatory skills, so promising applicants are not buried.
  • Set the ProMatch threshold in the vacancy form to match the role's difficulty; start with applicants above it, then widen if candidates are scarce.
  • Use the “Has event certificate” filter and watch for the “Met at” marker for candidates you already met at a job fair.
  • Open the per-factor breakdown before rejecting: small gaps can often be confirmed in the interview.
  • Use events (job fairs, campus recruitment) to meet candidates whose scores you can already see.

ProMatch and events (job fairs, webinars, seminars)

Job fairs

Some events use the ProMatch score as a minimum registration requirement, and participating employers see applicants' event scores. Arriving with a complete profile means you are already screened as a good fit before meeting face to face.

Certified webinars & seminars

Verified event attendance and certificates appear as badges on your applications and in your generated resume, and employers can filter applicants who have certificates. Badges do not change the score — to keep assessment fair — but make you easier to notice. You control their visibility in Settings › Privacy.

Stand out

If you attended an event where that employer exhibited or organized, your application is marked “Met at <event name>”. Complete profile + relevant skills + event attendance = standing out among other applicants.

Your rights

You may ask for an explanation of the factors behind your score and request a human review of a decision based on the automatic score. Send your request to legal@projob.id, mentioning the vacancy or event.

For employers

  • Fill in education level, minimum experience and at least one skill — a vacancy cannot be published without them.
  • Add field of study, languages, mandatory skills, location and minimum GPA where relevant for a more meaningful score.
  • Do not use discriminatory requirements. Age and gender are not assessed by ProMatch.
